I have used the lemon and salt method before and it really does work. I have also used it to clean some of my sterling silver rings and it works well on them too! What is the best method to get red wine stain out of a cotton t shirt?

Great tip, I have found that washing powder used as a soak over night for stubbon burnt on food works fantastically well

I have been travelling for over a year now and sub let my house to my sister. have noticed a few urine stains on the carpet from her dog. Will citric acid help remove these old stains???
