My restaurant buys brass cleaner called Brassmate. It is a non hazardous liquid that requires NO rubbing at all. I use it on my copper pots as well as my brass at home. Brassmate is a good product and I’m just passing on what I have found.

Many homes have windows that are easy to maintain. Due to the ability to fold, some windows may simply get out of placement and should be treated outside. The best method of maintaining traditional sash windows is to focus on the first front top, then return to the top. Then press the window to its original position and focus on the bottom half. Focus on the lower section of the window first, then move to the inner and middle bottom. Be sure to remove the screen before washing.

I have Revereware along with other copper pots and pans. I have been using Brassmate liquid brass and copper cleaner on them for years because it is non-abrasive and takes less than 20 seconds to completely clean and polish an item without any rubbing (which scratches) at all. Brassmate can be used over and over again, too, without losing potiency.

I never knew aluminum foil could be used for cleaning. it seems like it might be a little to abrasive for basic home cleaning.

I have used the lemon and salt method before and it really does work. I have also used it to clean some of my sterling silver rings and it works well on them too! What is the best method to get red wine stain out of a cotton t shirt?
